Nikoli, when you log in you are brought to an administration page. Look at the top for a write tab or button. This will allow you to write a new post.
Let me know if this is not how it works for you. The write button is not on the actual blog, it's on the admin page. If you're logged in and find your self on the blog look to the right column and find the "Site Admin"
link under the META heading and go to the admin page. There you will see "write". All you have to do is look around a bit and you'll find everything you need, as with life, it's all there.

The first bike ride was fun! We started out playing soccer with the dogs and getting tires pumped for the ride.

I didn't realize how many parks are in the Covington area but we found nearly all of them.

Karla, Rob, Kris, Andrew, Trey, Buddy, and Richie for the first ride. Next time it would be nice to bring some oranges, bananas and some electrolyte lemonade. Kris brought some home baked bread and evoo. Tasty treats!

Being in the city for the last year riding only to get to point b it was nice to get a group together to just cruise around on a nice sunny day in Cov.

Good ride...let's do it again. What about a canoe trip? I guess I'll start a new post on that one.

Thanks Kris for taking time to jot down those notes from last Sunday as well as being so involved in getting this ride together. I'll be there early to get tires pumped and chain lubed for the ride. I'll have Kai and I was thinking it would be cool if we could do a portion of the ride on the trace for the more family friendly segment so the parents won't have to worry about traffic. Then we all could meet up again at the park or something if others want to ride through the streets and catch the sites of Cov. Play it by ear but I wanted to put that out there.
See ya'll Sunday - Richie

Good to finally have the website. I wanted to clarify a few things posted. I am in the process of applying for a non-profit status for the project Harvest the Sun. I came up with the name for the project over a year ago. Also, Carrie Atwater and I are working on a waterkeeper alliance bringing educational outreach to our area as well as testing the non-source points for pollution.
Peace and blessings

Please be patient with the look of this blog at first. I'm still figuring out how to get things just right. It'll take a little time.
thanks - r
