Sunday January 6th several folks in the Covington area got together kinda impromptu to discuss what’s going on with each other in our community. Sort of a ’state of the community’ where y’at. Each person has their gem, their purpose, their piece of the puzzle. We got together to express that and see how the pieces all fit. A lot of energy came out of this first meeting and we got a good bit on paper (thx maygun) hence the posts we’ve put on the web.
The idea here is that this blog will be a place to organize upcoming meetings / gatherings / salons – whatever we want to call it. This is a community movement, a collaboration and an evolution of ideas.
The point is that it changes and grows. That’s how we know it’s working. This is whatever we want it to be. Nothing is written in stone. If someone has something brilliant to replace or add to this ’about’ page or anything on this site let’s do it.
The other point to this site is to have a place to bring the ideas shared in meetings furthur so as to let them take on a life of their own within our community. Feel free to comment on posts and submit ideas for new posts.
So that’s the nutshell - keep posting, keep ’tuned into the station’.
